Finding Hormonal Balance

From the first menses at puberty until the last month of menstrual blood flow in a woman’s life, hormonal changes vary in her body. Irregular menstruation, hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, vaginal dryness, skin thinning, diminished sex drive, anxiety, forgetfulness, depression and other mood changes are only a few of the many symptoms that plague a woman as she loses her hormonal balance. This change can come at any time in her adult life and often when she least expects it. A once alive and vibrant female now becomes flat and gray. Although these symptoms and sufferings are not any worse than those experienced by our mothers and grandmothers… there has simply been a change in attitude about living with them!
